10 Keyboard Shortcuts for PC-DMIS:

1. Ctrl + E 

Executes the selected feature or command (only for commands that support this feature). 

2. Ctrl + G 

Inserts a READPOINT/ command into the Edit window. 

3. Ctrl + S  

Saves the current measurement routine. 

4. Ctrl + U (Edit Window) 

Executes the measurement routine from the cursor’s location. 

5. ALT +’-‘ (Minus)  

Removes the last hit in the hit buffer. 

6. ALT + F3 (Edit Window) 

Opens the find dialogue box. 

7. Ctrl + ALT + A  

Opens the Alignment dialogue box. 

8. Ctrl + ALT + P  

Opens the Probe Utilities dialogue box. 

9. Shift + Click (Graphic Display Window)  

Creates an auto feature based on the highlighted CAD element. 

10. Ctrl + Click (Graphic Display Window) 

Multi-selects CAD objects (eg. surfaces). If an object is already selected, this shortcut will deselect it.
