Dean’s first job of the day is arguably one of the most important for many of us – procuring a mug of coffee. Now we’re all a little more alert, it’s time to seize the day.
You might find the formula familiar; a hefty to-do list, emails to action, calls to make, meetings with the team and as many customer visits as logistically possible.
As Managing Director, Dean liaises with four departments and their respective heads at Status:
A role as varied as you would expect, Dean still likes to get out of the office for site visits on a weekly basis. Customer relationships, naturally, remain incredibly important, and face-to-face meetings on key projects are essential.
Having taken the reins of the family business from his father, Tony, Dean has two young children of his own at home to keep him and his wife busy. Weekends are typically a family affair, but when he can pop out Dean’s a big real ale fan. A fan of ‘proper pubs’ as he puts it, and who are we to disagree? The perfect night would be polished off with a curry at The Mogul – a great nostalgic night out for those of us a certain age!
Don’t let The Mogul throw you though, Dean is something of a foodie and likes his fine dining too. The Lighthouse in Boylston is a firm favourite for special occasions.
Derby-born and bred, you’ll often spot Dean Pride Park cheering on the Rams. A big rugby fan also, it’s fair to say his lads are going to grow up surrounded by sport!
If you want to say hi, you can connect with Dean here on LinkedIn or feel free to give the office a call.
