At Status Metrology Solutions, we’re pleased to announce a significant expansion to our product and service offering, strengthening our position as a leading UK provider of metrology systems, portable arms, metrology software and technical support.

This development enhances our portable measurement capability, giving customers greater flexibility and choice when inspecting parts across industries including aerospace, automotive and general manufacturing.
As part of this expansion, we are now a UK distributor of the full suite of Kreon portable measuring arms, including the flagship Kreon Onyx and the versatile Kreon ACE models. Designed for both tactile probing and 3D scanning, these portable arms deliver ISO 10360-12 certified accuracy and are suited to fast, reliable inspection on the shop floor, in the lab, or on site.
The Kreon Onyx offers premium performance with 6- or 7-axis flexibility, lightweight ergonomic design, wireless operation and limitless rotation supporting high-precision measurement across a wide range of part sizes. The Kreon ACE range provides a more accessible solution, delivering dependable 3D measurement for everyday inspection tasks where efficiency and ease of use are key.
Together, these portable arm systems enable engineers to reduce inspection time, improve accuracy and capture consistent measurement data in demanding production environments.

To support our expanded portable arm offering, we are also introducing PolyWorks software as part of our portable measurement portfolio. PolyWorks is a universal 3D metrology ecosystem that enhances inspection, analysis and collaboration across multiple measurement platforms.
Within portable arm applications, PolyWorks helps users streamline workflows, improve digital traceability and accelerate decision-making. It complements our existing metrology software options and is offered alongside Zenith software for portable arm inspection.
Alongside this new portable arm technology, we are expanding our training services to include PolyWorks and Zenith software. Delivered by our experienced in-house team, these courses are designed to help operators build confidence, improve productivity and maximise the return on their metrology investment.
Training can be tailored to suit different experience levels and inspection requirements, ensuring practical, real-world value for our customers.
“This next step marks a major milestone in our mission to offer the most complete and flexible metrology solutions in the UK,” says Dean Tillett, Managing Director of Status Metrology Solutions. “By introducing Kreon portable arms alongside advanced metrology software, we’re giving our customers even more capability, choice and confidence in their inspection processes.”
With decades of experience in precision measurement, we continue to evolve our offering to meet the changing demands of modern manufacturing. Full product details, technical information and supporting imagery are available on our website.
